The act of creating and being a "maker" has been a pillar my entire life. Vibrant colors, unexpected lines, and movement always seem to find their way into my daily routine. I have found comfort in creating Modern Abstract Art and look forward to time in my studio where time slows and creation is expedited.
Two of my great loves, Photography and Painting, are the perfect combination of freezing and capturing motion. Those two art forms allow me to express myself in Modern Abstract ways with color, light, and placement.
Some artists, like myself, use traditional mediums like paint and canvas, while others are using multimedia and interactive installations to push the boundaries of abstraction. Whatever the medium, the goal of modern abstract art is to evoke a visceral response from the viewer - one that can be both exhilarating and thought provoking. My ultimate goal is to have the viewer stop and think and feel something!
I'm grateful for every photography client and every art collector who I come in contact with. I'm constantly learning and growing and feel I am exactly where I need to be; in motion. Thanks for supporting my creative practice!
