Full circle was created as I reflected back on my earlier paintings that inspired so much. Botany and nature were a large draw of inspiration years ago when I first started painting, and that is what I pulled from in this piece. The contrast of the background really helps all of the details to pop and be significant in their own way. It’s multi layered and multifaceted and there’s always a new surprise and a small moment to discover.
